Uranos, the Celestial.

This baroque violin is attributed to Mathias Thir, a great Austrian maker of the second half of the 1700s, and a descendant of a successful family of violin makers. Its sound is deep, full-bodied, and generous on all four strings. It mounts a Stradivari bridge and an original tailpiece from the early 1800s. An incredible instrument, perfectly restored, coming to us with its original neck, thinned at a later date.
